Booking an Appointment
To book an appointment with your doctor, please call (07) 5524 4888.
If you think you’ll need more time with your doctor, just let our reception team know when booking and we’ll arrange a longer consultation.
If more than one family member needs to see a doctor, please mention this at the time of booking so we can allocate enough time for each person. This helps us keep things running smoothly.
We prioritise emergencies and unwell children—if your appointment is for either, please let reception know when booking so we can prepare accordingly.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us at least two hours in advance. Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a fee from your doctor.
Care Outside Normal Opening Hours
In the event of an emergency, please call 000.
For after-hours, please call the National Home Doctor on 13 74 25 or visit Tweed Valley Hospital.
Test Results
All test results are reviewed by the doctors. Should your doctor require a follow-up, our nursing team will get in touch to arrange an appointment in line with the urgency of your results. Otherwise, you are welcome to make an appointment to obtain your results, and to plan further follow-up care.
Please note, our reception staff cannot provide patients with medical results.
Referrals and Repeat Prescription
When necessary, doctors seek opinions from specialists. You can discuss this openly with your GP, including out-of-pocket expenses.
Please make an appointment in anticipation of renewing prescriptions or referrals. We are unable to provide prescriptions or referrals without an appointment.
Reminder System
Our practice is committed to preventative care.
Your doctor will seek your permission to be included on our reminder system.
We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time, offering you preventative health services appropriate to your care. If you do not wish to be part of this system, please let your doctor, nurse or reception staff know.
